Coloured meshing from a colour point cloud.
The well was scanned internally with an inverse tripod allowing capturing detailed information as far down the well as space would allow.
We cleaned and processed the scan data to create a highly detailed coloured mesh.
The mesh was also converted into .dwg format for use in AutoCAD for the creation of a structural report.
Meshing from point data can be extremely useful when detailed measurements are required for things such as defect reporting. They can also be used in photo realistic visualisations.
